   Lake swimming is only a short walk across the street. Riding your bicycles around the lake & across the dam to the South Santiam Fish Hatchery is a great family experience.
   For more challenging days, drive up into the majesty of old growth forests & take hikes up in the high Cascades.
   After your day's trips, come back to your vacation lodge to rest, relax & have your meals while planning for the next day's fun.
   After dinner, sit on the couch with a mug of hot apple cider (locally made) & read your favorite book in front of a warm, crackling fire.
